The most important parenting skill in the history of the universe

If you haven't seen the parenting videos created by Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center, you should check them out. They offer quick nuggets of wise, hands-on advice — information that many parents (me, for instance) forget in the chaos of day-to-day life with kids.

This video, for example, focuses on "perhaps the most important parenting skill in the history of the universe," according to the Center's director, Christine Carter:
